Course Content Policy

Courses uploaded to LimeLearn must adhere to the following guidelines:

No Direct Advertising:
At LimeLearn, we understand that some courses may naturally involve the use of specific products, tools, or software. However, courses may not include direct advertisements or deliberate promotion of products, services, or commercial brands with the intention of driving sales or marketing.

What does this mean?

If you are teaching a course that involves the use of particular tools or software, it is perfectly fine to mention, use, and instruct on these as part of the learning experience.

What is not allowed is content that serves as direct advertising for a specific vendor or service, where the primary aim is to sell the product to students, such as through discount codes, referral links, or sponsored content.

We aim to maintain a learning environment focused on education, free from hidden commercial interests. Our goal is to ensure that learning and knowledge-sharing remain objective, centered on the needs of the students rather than product marketing.

Political Neutrality:
Political content, including campaigns, ideological indoctrination, or content that promotes specific political views, is not allowed.

No Offensive Content:
Courses must not include offensive, discriminatory, or racist content. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive language, images, videos, or references to race, gender, sexuality, religion, or culture.

Respect for Intellectual Property:
All content must respect applicable copyright laws. Using material that is not your own without proper authorization or license is prohibited.

Relevant and Useful Content:
Course material must be designed to enhance learning and be relevant to the subject it covers. The material must be useful to students and meet the course's learning objectives.

Quality Assurance:
Courses must maintain a high standard in both presentation and content. Poor quality, such as low audio or video quality or unclear instructions, will not be accepted.

No Misleading Information:
Course providers must not give false or misleading information about their qualifications, the course content, or the outcomes the course may achieve.

No Illegal Content:
Course material that violates applicable laws or promotes illegal activities is prohibited. This includes material that encourages violence, hate, cybercrime, fraud, or other unlawful behavior.

Safety and Health Guidelines:
Courses that involve physical activities, health practices, or techniques with potential risks must include appropriate warnings and safety instructions.

LimeLearn Right to Removal:
LimeLearn reserves the right to remove any course that does not comply with these guidelines without prior notice. If a course is removed due to a violation of content requirements, the upload fee will not be refunded.
